Risk for Anxiety and Depression Lab
Our research focuses on the neuroscience of anxiety and depression. This work spans childhood to adulthood, with a particular focus on emotional changes that occur in adolescence. We are predominantly interested in whether neuroscience measures and methods can be used to understand risk for these disorders. We are also examining whether neuroscientifically-defined risk factors can be modified to reduce anxiety and depression. Related to this goal, we are designing and testing novel intervention and prevention approaches for anxiety and depression that are based in neuroscience.
